Tomorrow morning, David and I will start our adventure to Montana. For those that don't know, we will be DRIVING to Kalispell, MT to meet up with a life-long friend of mine (Andrea & her hubby, BJ) and 4 of BJ's friends from Wisconsin. We are planning on getting to Kalispell by Saturday and unfortunately won't have time to do a bunch of fun stuff on the way out. Once we get to MT, we will prepare for a 5 day backpacking trip through Glacier National Park, ending in Waterton, Canada. We are so excited and can't believe this trip is upon us. Once we get back from the backpacking trip, David and I will be driving back to the East Coast but taking some time to see that side of the country. I'm sure there will be a ba-jillion stories and even more pictures to go along with this trip so I figured I would jump on the band-wagon of blogging to keep you all informed and hopefully amused. Check back periodically for updates from the road.....until then.....Happy Trails.

I can't believe you guys are backpacking in Glacier! You know I spent 2 summers there and it's possibly my favorite place on earth. Enjoy! I can't wait to hear about your experience. If your cross-country trip back to the East Coast brings you through Colorado, you know you have a place to stay in Denver! Take care, Slewis
In the olden days, we said if you could wallpaper a house/room together your marriage was strong. Nowadays, they say, if you can drive cross-country, you're good for a lifetime!
